OUR PROGRAMS
At Hope Achievers (HAK), we offer a diverse range of programs designed to support young women throughout their personal and professional journeys. Our mission is to equip them with the guidance, skills, and opportunities they need to build a brighter future.
Mental Health Support
Our mental health promotion and support initiatives encourage protective factors and healthy behaviours that prevent mental disorders and reduce risk factors for their development. In slums, mental health issues are often caused by drug and substance abuse, lifestyle challenges, and poverty.
Young women and youth are particularly vulnerable. We organize activities involving guidance, storytelling, and openness to help participants navigate their struggles. We also provide referrals to rehabilitation centers and government facilities offering mental health services. Monitoring, evaluation, and assessment of young women suspected of having mental health issues are integral parts of this program.
Vocational Training Skills
Urban Farming Skills
Our urban farming initiative aims to improve the livelihoods of urban poor communities through poverty alleviation, enhanced food security, and mitigation of natural resource degradation.

Prevention, Guidance, and Management of Early Pregnancies
Early pregnancy is a growing issue in informal settlements, driven by poverty, vulnerability, substance abuse, and lack of guidance. HAK addresses this by raising awareness, providing mentorship, and engaging young women and girls in productive activities to discourage early pregnancies.
Our goal is to reduce the high rate of early pregnancies by educating young women on their consequences and offering constructive alternatives.
