OUR OUTREACH TO DATE

      To date we have been providing services at donated spaces and street gatherings. All of the photos below have been taken of our outreach. They are not stock photos but rather documentation of our work to date. The services we have provided to date are:

1.   1.   Mentorship

     We have already managed to do mentorship to the many young girls through outreach and by providing services, food and health care information at street gatherings. Counselling and mentorship have been well done to the affected girls, but then most of them are requesting a place where they can leave their kids in order to go back to school. They want to go back to school, we have helped them see that only when they go to school to further their education will they stand a chance to exit this cycle of poverty. And as we all know, education could be one of the long-term solutions to reduce poverty and enlighten their knowledge, thus helping them to acquire employment which reduces poverty at the end. Our mentorship gatherings is always done on Saturday, except when schools are closed, at which time we provide mentoring on weekdays (Monday to Friday).

    

           Feeding Program and Provisions Assistance

    In addition to providing mentoring, health information for young girls we have been providing food, health supplies and hot meals on a weekly basis.

3.      Street education for Young Ones

    We have provided, with the help of friends and volunteers, programming for children and youth, including visual art classes, performing art, music, modern and cultural dances, tennis and weaving. This provides them with esteem building creative outlets and takes them away from damaging experiences.
